Our Facilities

Sky View Memorial Park was started in 1963 by Charles B. Holden, Sr., and his wife, Myrtle Minor Holden. It was operated by the Holden family until it was sold to Gary C. & Vicki D. West of Weaverville in 2000. The Wests have many years of experience in operating cemeteries in Weaverville (West Memorial Park and Clark’s Chapel Cemetery).

Since purchasing the cemetery from the Holden family, the West’s have repaved the driveways in the cemetery, added landscaping and signage at the road.

Sky View was originally all flat bronze markers mounted to granite bases. We now have a new area where there is availability for upright granite monuments. We currently have plans for a cremation area with Columbariam for above-ground placement of cremated remains.
