Zayn Matthew Banks

Zayn Matthew Banks went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 13, 2021, just a few days before his first birthday.  

Zayn was born August 17, 2020 in Mecklenburg County. He was the light of our life and made everyone smile when he was around. He was so strong willed and we will miss him so much.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, John Banks, Jr. and Alliah Foster; sisters, Kassie, Kammie and Kenzie Banks; grandparents, Brian Foster and Jennifer Parker; grandmother, Tracy Flynn; aunts, Marianne Foster, Skyla Conley, Jennifer Banks, and Jaden Foster;  uncle, Amerus Guffey and his wife, Taylor; and his loving cousins.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alice Padgett and  John Banks, Sr.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Sky View Memorial Park, 25 Sky View Park Drive, Asheville. Reverend Jim Moore will officiate.
