Wanda Roberts Mount

FLETCHER– Wanda Roberts Mount, age 81, of Fletcher, died Tuesday, February 13, 2018. Mrs. Mount was born December 10, 1936 in Buncombe County to the late George and Alice Rector Roberts; she was a resident of Buncombe County all of her life. She was the manager of Family Storage Center, Field-Young Inc. and a member of Cedar Mountain Baptist Church. Also preceding her in death are her husband, Paul Ray Mount who died in June, 2017; sister, Cathy Roberts and brother John Roberts. Wanda was a devoted Christian, mother and wife who was a prayer warrior and always took the needs of others before her own. We are truly blessed to have had her in our lives to set a loving example for us to follow. She will truly be missed. Surviving are her sons, Barry Mount, David Mount and wife Jeannette, and William Robinson and wife Donna; daughter, Candy Duckworth and husband Greg; seven grandchildren, which includes special granddaughter, Bailey; and three great grandchildren. Her memorial graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 20, 2018 in the Chapel of Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, Black Mountain.
