Veronica Jo Dillingham

CENTRAL, SC and BARNARDSVILLE, NC – Veronica Jo Dillingham, age 77, of Central, SC formerly of Barnardsville, NC, died Thursday, December 20, 2018. Mrs. Dillingham was born December 28, 1940 in Jefferson county TX to the late Rubert Truett and Katherine Murray Peveto. She had lived most of her life in Port Arthur, TX and was a resident of Buncombe County, NC for 30 years. Veronica was a homemaker, mother, a God loving, and a virtuous woman. Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Douglas Phil Dillingham; sons, Doug Dillingham, Jr. and wife Rene, Tommy Dillingham, Truett Dillingham and wife Renee, and Sean Dillingham and wife Kim; sister Jackie Hall; nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Her graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 26, 2018 in Thomas S. Dillingham Cemetery, Hillcrest Circle, Barnardsville. Her son, Truett Dillingham, will conduct this “graduation celebration”. West Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
