Troy Frank Hunnicutt

TROY FRANK HUNNICUTT, JR. ASHEVILLE – Troy Frank Hunnicutt, Jr., age 74 of Asheville died Thursday, December 8, 2016. Mr. Hunnicutt was born March 31, 1942 in Buncombe County where he had lived most of his life. He formerly worked for Grove Park Inn as the Director of Engineering and Development. In that position he oversaw the design and construction of their spa. He was a veteran of the US Navy. His parents, Troy Frank Honeycutt and Dorothy Tipton Honeycutt as well as his daughter, Christine “Kristi” Renee Hunnicutt preceded him in death. Surviving are his son, Brandon Troy Hunnicutt; sister, Jeannie Penley and grandchildren, Brandie Hunnicutt, Andre Griffin, Jr. and Jayden Troy Hunnicutt. Burial will be at Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, Black Mountain.
