Sylvia Lewis Harward

     ASHEVILLE - Sylvia Lewis Harward, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, May 19th, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.

     Born on April 5th, 1938, in Badin, NC, Sylvia was the daughter of the late Walter Hudson Lewis and Willie Shaver Lewis. She pursued a career in the banking industry and worked in various positions throughout her life. Her hard work and dedication towards her profession made her well-respected in the community.  Sylvia is survived by her son, Wes Harward and his wife, Tammy.

     A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 4pm, at Stanley Gardens of Memory in Albemarle, NC.
