Sandra Pruitt Griffin

ASHEVILLE—Sandra Pruitt Griffin, age 65, of 328 Barton Road, died Saturday, July 30, 2011. Mrs. Griffin was born Dec. 24, 1945. She was formerly employed at Burlington Industry, Sayle's Bleacheries, and Griffin Grocery. Sandra was the daughter of the late Sydney L. and Beulah Mae Smith Pruitt. Surviving are her husband of 44 years, Everett Griffin; daughter, Denise Hollifield and husband Dale; grandson, Colton; brother, Sonny Pruitt. Her memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 3, 2011, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville with the Rev. Gary Haynes officiating. Flowers are welcome.
