ASHEVILLE – Sandra Ross Glass, age 76, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at her residence.

Sandra was born March 30, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan to the late James Daniel Ross and Glynda Nolen Ross.  She was raised in southwestern Virginia and resided most of her adult life in Buncombe County.  She graduated from the Roanoke Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and received both her BSN and MBA from Western Carolina University.  

Sandra was an RN at the old Mission Hospital for most of her long healthcare career.  She also enjoyed quilting, refinishing furniture, and gardening.  

Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Frank Russell Glass, Jr.; sons, Stephen Daniel Glass and Benjamin Russell Glass and wife Chi; grandchildren, Jack and Sam Glass; and sisters, Pam Seay and Patti Weaver.  All the help shown from friends, family, and Four Seasons Hospice is much appreciated.

Her graveside service will be held at 2:30pm on Monday, February 19, 2024 in Lewis Memorial Park, 415 Beaverdam Road, Asheville, NC 28804.  Rev.
