BARNARDSVILLE – Ronald Gary Van Gyn, 68, of Barnardsville passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at CarePartners Hospice Solace Center in Asheville.
Ron was born on November 10, 1954, in Teaneck, New Jersey. He was the son of the late Louis and Florence Van Gyn.
He grew up in Oakland Park, Florida, where he attended vocational school. For 10 years he worked at Sears in Pompano Beach. In 2005, he and his mother moved to Barnardsville to be with this brother’s family.
Ron is survived by his brother, David Van Gyn and wife Annemarie; nephew, Louis Van Gyn; and nieces, Shaina and Kailene Van Gyn.
