Paul Densmore Brown

WOODFIN – Paul Densmore Brown, age 86, of Woodfin passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at his home. Mr. Brown was born on August 7, 1938, in Buffalo, NY to the late Edwin and Harriet Trago Brown. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Edwin W. Brown, Richard Brown, and David Brown; and daughter-in-law, Whitney M. Brown.

Mr. Brown lived many years in Pinellas County, Florida where he was a teacher, school counselor and then principal during his 32-year career in education. He was a member of Grace Point Church, formerly Woodland Hills.

Surviving is his wife, Ruth Drummond Brown; sons, Bruce D. Brown and children, Spencer Brown and Kennedy Payne (husband Jase), Dr. Steven P. Brown (wife Mary) and children Michael, Anna and Nathan Brown, and Alan W. Brown and children Amber Span (husband Caleb), Sierra Brown and Nadia Miller (husband Luke); great-grandchildren, Téa Corrine McCleary, Juliette Whitney Miller and Elias Brave Payne; daughter in law, Sandra M. Brown; sister in law, Patricia Brown; and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Grace Point Church, 50 Woodland Hills Road, Asheville, NC 28804, with Pastor Neil Montgomery officiating.
