Patricia Parks Michael

MARSHALL – Patricia Parks Michael, age 92, of Marshall, died Friday, June 13, 2025.

Patricia was born on February 7, 1933, in Buncombe County and was a resident of Marshall since 2013.

Patricia graduated from Lee Edwards High School and was formerly employed at Grace Oil Company which her father founded. She formerly attended First Presbyterian Church, Weaverville. Patricia was an artist, loved working with her hands and singing in the choir.

She was a daughter of the late June L. Parks, Sr. and Leta Mae Burroughs Parks. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, June L. Parks, Jr., and Rev. David Parks; and sister, Madelyn Parks Gettys.

Surviving are her daughters, Janet Wallin, and Linda Michael; sons, Wayne Michael and wife Tami, and Donald William Michael, Jr. and wife Wipha; grandchildren, Crystal Wells, Dillon Michael, Shane Wallin, and Austin Wallin; and five great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, June 16, 2025, in West Memorial Park with Rev. Al Harrell officiating. Burial will follow the service in West Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 16, 2025, prior to the service in West Memorial Park.
