Margaret Davis Stephens

MARGARET DAVIS STEPHENS ASHEVILLE – Margaret Davis Stephens, age 89, of Asheville, went to be with the Lord, April 13, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Howard Davis and wife of 66 years to the late Norman F. Stephens. Mrs. Stephens was a Proverbs 31 woman who was a faithful wife, loving mother and successful business owner. She was a committed member of Newbridge Baptist Church, co-owner of Stephens Upholstering Co. and North Area Self Storage. Surviving are her son, Tim Stephens, son and daughter-in-law, Felton and Mary Stephens, and son, Lane Stephens all of Asheville; grandchildren, Dewayne, Lindsay and husband Karsten, Lisa, Carmen, and Chris; great grandson Merritt. Her funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2018 in Newbridge Baptist Church. Rev. Clark Henderson will officiate. Burial will be in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory, Asheville. The family will receive friends Tuesday, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. West Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
