Malla B. Stone

Malla B. Stone, 89, of 1230 Dillingham Road, went to be with Jesus on January 29, 2022.

She was born December 13, 1932, the daughter of the late Noah “Jack” and Ida Jane Webb Blankenship.

She was a devoted housewife and mother, as well as being a grandmother, and great-grandmother or “Nanny” as she liked to be called.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Coy C. Stone; sisters, Clara Riddle, Helen Huffstetler, Jackie Metcalf; brother, Donald Rex “Bud” Blankenship; and granddaughter, Alex Alva.

Surviving are her sister, Juanita Harwood; daughters, Deborah Tuten, Gale Hancock, and Sharon Brank; sons, Ricky and Robert Stone; daughters in law, Laura Stone and Deborah E. Stone; grandchildren, Scott Baity, Cindy Baity, Lori Hancock Contrivo, Brent Hancock, Kristen Tuten Davis, Megan Stone, Sara Stone, Lindsley Alva, and Jessie Burchfield; fifteen great-grandchildren; and she had many dear friends.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 3, 2022, at Dillingham Presbyterian Church where she was a member. The Reverend Richard Hicks will officiate. Burial will follow in Haynie Family Cemetery.
