Linda Anne Deweese Cribb

COLUMBUS, N. C. – Linda Anne Deweese Cribb, age 78, of Columbus, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026.

Linda Anne was born on December 17, 1947, in Buncombe County where she lived for twenty-one years and then in Henderson County for thirty years and in Polk County until her death.

She was a graduate of A. C. Reynolds High School and attended Western Carolina University. Linda was an advertising executive who went into the Real Estate business and later owned and operated L. C. Trailer Sales and Service, specializing in horse trailers.

Linda Anne was the daughter of the late Clarence V. and Sara Sigmon Deweese.

Surviving are her husband, Billy E. Cribb; her son, Chris Smith and his wife, Mandy; a sister, Becky Smith and her husband, John; four grandchildren, Pali, Zach, Taylor and Presley; and a nephew, Casey J. Smith and his wife, Tammy.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a time to be determined.
