Lee Nix, Jr.

BARNARDSVILLE – William “Lee” Nix, Jr., 46, of Barnardsville passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022.

Lee was the son of Bobbie D. Nix and the late William L. Nix, Sr.  Along with his mother, he is survived by his brother, James D. Nix; his sister, Wendy Nix Austin; two nephews, Dallas and Jacob Nix; and two nieces, Hannah Nix and Lexi Austin.

A 1993 graduate of North Buncombe High School, Lee was a simple man who enjoyed the outdoors. He was an avid hunter who loved animals especially his four dogs.

He worked at AB Emblem for the last nine years and was a Materials Supervisor. Lee was also a member of Dillingham Presbyterian Church.

A graveside service will be held 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2022 in John F. Dillingham Cemetery, Barnardsville.

In lieu of flowers, the family is respectfully accepting donations to assist with his funeral expenses.
