Kenneth Merrill Morris

WEAVERVILLE - Kenneth Merrill Morris passed away Monday, March 23, 2026, in Waynesville, North Carolina at the age of 71. He was a longtime resident of Weaverville, North Carolina. Ken loved fishing, spending time at the lake and was a member of the Marion Moose Lodge #1705. He leaves behind many people who loved him and countless memories shared with family and friends.

He was born November 18, 1954, in Panama City, Florida and graduated from Bay High School. Ken was very gifted in working with his hands and spent his free time either repairing old cars or repairing/building radios and stereos. He eventually made his career in repairing cars.

Ken is preceded in death by his father, Leonard Wilbur Morris; and grandmother, Maude Morris. He is survived by his mother, Nancy Morris; two sisters, Debbie Toves (John) and Suzanne Ingram (Jeff); his longtime friend, Trisha Crisco; and several nephews, a niece, great nieces and great nephews. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends who will continue to cherish his memory. The family would like to express thanks for the care and compassion given by the staff at Skyland Terrace and Rehab, and Haywood Hospice.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date with a few close friends.
