Kaitlyn Elisabeth Wilson

WEAVERVILLE– Kaitlyn Elisabeth Wilson, age 23, of Weaverville received her angel wings on Saturday, November 7, 2020 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Kaitlyn was a 2015 graduate of North Buncombe High School and a 2019 graduate of UNCA. Her love for children led her to pursue teaching and she sought to make a difference in her student’s lives.

She is survived by her parents, Daniel and Connie Wilson of Weaverville; sisters, Meagan and husband Matthew Bartlett and their daughter Hattie of Swannanoa, and Danielle Wilson of Weaverville; maternal grandmother, JoAnn Stanley of Mars Hill; paternal grandfather, Richard Wilson of Weaverville; boyfriend, Nolan Kirkpatrick; friend, Evan Franklin and many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.

Her memorial gathering will be held Saturday, November 21, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the home of her parents. You are welcome to visit at any time.
