WEAVERVILLE – With deep love and heartfelt remembrance, we honor the life of Judy Worley Geouge. Born on September 30, 1949, to the late Layfatte and Helen Worley. She was a precious mother, grandmother, aunt, and a devoted servant of the Lord. She left this world to be with her Savior on April 18, 2026.
A faithful dedicated member of Browns Chapel Baptist Church, she lived her life rooted in faith, love and service to others. 2 Timothy 4:7-8 describes her perfectly. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge shall give me at that day; and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her devoted husband of 57 years, William “Bill” Geouge, who really impressed his daughters with his care giving skills. Her loving daughters, Tracie Edwards (Stephen), and Melissa English (Anthony); her treasured grandchildren, Nathan Lunsford and Michaela Cole (Dalton); great grandchildren, Carson, Matthew, Hunter, and Wyatt Cole.
She is also survived by her special sister, Carolyn Robinson; along with special nieces and a special nephew who will hold her memory close to their hearts.
Though she will be deeply missed, we take comfort in knowing she has received her heavenly reward and is at peace in the presence of the Lord.
There will be a graveside service held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., at West Memorial Park, 40 Roberts St., Weaverville, with Rev. Phillip Wilson officiating. The family request no flowers but if anyone feels led they can make a donation to St. Jude in memory of her.
