Joan Flynn Hubbard

     KNOXVILLE, TN - Joan Flynn Hubbard, 90, passed away November 21, 2022, in Knoxville TN.  Mrs. Hubbard was born in Port Jervis, N.Y.  She lived her adult years in Asheville NC. She was preceded in death by her parents, Genevieve Viola Hughson Flynn and John Stephen Flynn; and her beloved brother Lenard John Flynn.

     Mrs. Hubbard is survived by her daughters, Margaret Stoddard (Jerry) and Kathleen Logan; grandchildren, Erin Merline (Andrew), Corrie Morris (Brent); and great-grandchildren, Miriam, Ben and Ivy Morris.

     Mrs. Hubbard was a graduate of Saint Genevieve-of-the Pines.  She was active at Saint Eugene School, Buncombe County Medical Auxiliary, Ladies Golf Association at Asheville Country Club, Asheville Board of Realtors and was an associate with Preferred Properties since 1979.

     Special thanks to Ms. Susan Leighton, Joan’s caregiver and friend and everyone at Deane Hill Place and Amedisys Hospice that gave such great care and support to Joan and her family.

     A graveside service will be held at 11am on  Friday, December 2, 2022 at Lewis Memorial Park, 415 Beaverdam Road, Asheville, NC 28804. Reverend Gary Coffey will officiate.
