WEAVERVILLE – Jerry Keith, age 77, went home to be with the Lord on November 21, 2025. He was born August 20,1948, in Weaverville and was the son of the late Robert Lee and Pauline Mace Keith.

Jerry graduated from North Buncombe High School. Following graduation he served in the US Army. After returning home he worked for AB Emblem of Weaverville, NC until he retired. He continued to serve in the Army Reserves until retirement.

He is preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his sister, Recia Lee Kaylor of Sylva NC; niece, Angela Luther and Ken of Minneapolis, MN; nephew, John Kaylor and Gloria of Bryson City, NC; and great niece, Adriana Lajeunesse and Zack of Spring Hill, FL.

A special thanks goes out to his church family who exceeded expectations in helping care for Jerry in his time of need. Jerry loved attending Flat Creek Baptist Church.

Jerry loved his country, God and his family, and was always kind, and always friendly. He looked forward to reunions and holidays and couldn’t wait for or pass up a good country meal- and don’t forget the ice cream!

Jerry was loved by everyone. He spent his last days at Mountain View Manor in Bryson City and was treated pretty special by Becki! Jerry will be missed but will live on forever in our hearts.
