WEAVERVILLE– Jerry Mitchell Davis, age 80, died Friday, March 1, 2019.
Jerry was born October 3, 1938 in Buncombe County.
He was a retired parts manager of Matthews Ford.
He was an avid hunter and an award winning rider and horseman.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruth Bodenhamer Davis; daughter Tami Michael of Barnardsville; best friend, Rex Freeman of Marshall; three grandchildren, Alex Bentley, Dillon Michael, and Crystal Wells; two great grandchildren, Braxton Wells and Jase Wells.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2019 in Mausoleum of Ashelawn Gardens of Memory, 901 Aiken Road, Asheville, NC 28804.
West Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
