Jay O'Donnell

ASHEVILLE – Jay O’Donnell, age 70, of Asheville, died Tuesday, February 5, 2019.

Jay was born April 1, 1948 in Los Angeles, CA to the late James B. and Stella Buckner O’Donnell; he was a resident of Buncombe County for the past six years. Living in Palmetto, FL where he worked as a supervisor on the docks, shipping and receiving goods.  Jay was a US Navy veteran, having served during the Vietnam War.

Surviving are his sister, Teresa Jarvis and husband Phillip; brothers, Rodney Mckinzie and wife Cathy, and Robin McKinzie and wife Brenda.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

West Funeral Home is assisting the family.
