James "Jamey" Black, II

A native of Buncombe County, Jamey was the son of James Arthur Black and the late Sharon E. Black.

He is survived by his father; his sister, Angie Taylor and her husband, Patrick; a niece, Brittany Taylor; a nephew, Christian Taylor, as well as many loving family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Browns Chapel Baptist Church, 90 Blackberry Inn Road, Weaverville, NC. Pastor Philip Wilson will officiate. Interment will follow in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory, 901 Aiken Road, Asheville. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the church.
