Weaverville resident Harry Biemolt died on October 9, 2021, at the age of 92.
Harry was born and raised a proud Chicagoan. He worked in the City for Precision Scientific for more than 30 years. Then, he became the President of Hotpack Corp. of Philadelphia, until his retirement.
The Biemolts enjoyed designing and building a mountain home in Asheville. Harry established a wood working shop in that home and played/worked in it daily for years. He created wonderful gifts of wooden furniture and accessories for family and friends.
Survivors include his wife Marty (Martha M.); a son Wayne (Denise); a granddaughter Amanda Tate (Jeremy) and the pride of his later life, great granddaughter, Bailey Anne Tate age 2 ½.
The attached photo is of Harry and Bailey on her first birthday. Somewhere, Harry is smiling at the use of that photo. It was his favorite.
Due to the resurgence of Covid 19, the family will say their good-byes privately and no memorial will be held. The family is grateful for all the thoughtfulness and care Harry received at the Brian Center these last months.
Memorials may be sent to Memory Care of Asheville, 100 Far Horizons Lane, Asheville, NC 28803. The program at Memory Care taught the family how to deal with Harry’s illness and it allowed him to have a good quality of life for a very long time.
West Funeral Home, Weaverville, is assisting the family. Condolences may be sent through the website, www.WestFamilyFuneralServices.com
