Harold Dwight Harron

ASHEVILLE – Harold Dwight Harron, age 89, of Asheville went to be with the Lord, Friday, September 13, 2024.

Harold was born January 16, 1935, in Buncombe County to the late James Gaston and Eva Horton Harron. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Virginia Roberts and Doris Trubuck; and brother, James Harron.

Surviving is his wife, Carolyn Buckner Harron; daughter, Joy Eilers (John); sons, Steve Harron (Patty) and Jeffrey Harron; brother, Jack Harron; and three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. 

His funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm on Friday September 20, 2024 in the Chapel of West Funeral Home with Reverend Ray Bailey officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory.
