Faye Ebbs Pegg

ASHEVILLE – Faye Ebbs Pegg, age 92, of Asheville died Monday, September 26, 2022 at WNC Baptist Home. 

Mrs. Pegg was born in the Meadow Fork area of Madison County and was a resident of Buncombe County for most of her life.  She was a member of Spring Creek United Methodist Church. A devoted and loving mother, Mrs. Pegg was also a dedicated friend to so many in her community and beyond.  She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

 She was the daughter of the late E.B. and Hattie Duckett Ebbs and the wife of the late William Melvin Pegg. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Iowa and Ruby; and her brothers, Manson, Isaac, John, and Bill.

Mrs. Pegg is survived by two sons, William M. Pegg, Jr. (Debbie) of Suwanee, Georgia and Richard Pegg (Kim) of Asheville; eight grandchildren, Justin, William III, Benjamen, Bryan, Christopher, Rachel, Evan and Jacob; and five great-grandchildren, Addi, Aria, Oliver, Owen and Elizabeth.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 29 in the Chapel of West Funeral Home with Reverend Keith Watkins officiating.  Burial will be at West Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 29 at the funeral home. 

Flowers are acceptable and appreciated.
