Eugene F. Dotson

WEAVERVILLE - Eugene F. Dotson, Jr., age 63, of Weaverville, died Saturday November 4, 2017. Eugene was born May 27, 1954 in Henderson County, to Madge Kirby Dotson and the late Eugene Dotson Sr. and was a resident of Buncombe County for the past 30 yrs. Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife of 34 years, Deborah Reed Dotson; sons, Josh Sprinkle and wife Denise and Daniel Dotson; sister, Martha Dotson; brother, Butch Dotson and wife Donna; and beloved granddaughters, Allie Faith and Hannah Grace Sprinkle. His funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday November 9, 2017 in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave. Weaverville, with the Reverend Brian Hanrahan officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Flowers are welcome.
