Esther LaVonne Hansen

WEAVERVILLE – Esther LaVonne “Bonnie” Hansen, age 90, of Weaverville, died Monday, August 23, 2021.

Mrs. Hansen was born December 21, 1930, in Polk County, Florida to the late William McKinley Bates and Allie Shannon Davison Bates. Bonnie was a graduate of Spring Arbor College in Spring Arbor, Michigan and was the wife of a Methodist minister.    In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, Richard R. Hansen who died in 1983, and her second husband, Vernon D. Morrison who died in 2008.

She is survived by her daughter, Laura LaVonne Hansen and her family, and son, Steven G. Hansen and his family.
