Doris Palien

WEAVERVILLE– Doris Palien, age 92, of Weaverville, died Wednesday, March 28, 2018. Doris was born November 11, 1925. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Surviving are her husband of 70 years, Julian Palien; daughters, Jane Gaulding (Rich) and Beth Palien; son John Palien (Didi), and three grandsons, Matthew and John Sautter, and Michael Palien. Her memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday March 31, 2018 in Weaverville United Methodist Church. Rev. Dr. Roger Weisner will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. West Funeral Home is assisting the family.
