She graduated as Salutatorian of the class of 1938 at Woodfin High School. Mrs. Honeycutt was such a Godly woman with her demeanor of meekness and mildness, always seeing the good in every person. She was truly the Proverbs 31 woman. She had a gift of service to others, caring for her mother & mother-in-law until their deaths. Doris nurtured her children and grandchildren and was always there to help in any way possible. Everyone in her family admired her for being the strong matriarch that they all wanted to be like. She was our Prayer Warrior. We always knew momma was praying us through whatever we were involved in. We will cherish her memory and the example that she left behind.
