Diane Crisp Kuykendall

ASHEVILLE – Diane Crisp Kuykendall, age 67, of Asheville passed away Monday, May 16, 2022.

Diane was the daughter of the late Johnny & Juanita Crisp. She was very active in the lives of her children and great grandchildren and tried to be at every event they had. A member of Calvary Baptist of Fairview and a previous member of New Salem Baptist Church, Diane was always very involved in her churches.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Roger Kuykendall who died in 2018, grandson, Joshua Silvers and granddaughter, Kali Silvers.

Surviving are her daughters, Anisa Creasman and husband Troy and Jennifer Silvers and Brian Webb; son, Keith Kuykendall and wife Amanda; sisters, Judy Randall, Helen Wojtkowiak, Teresa Watts, Cynthia Gaddy, Cricket Crisp and Tina Ray; brothers, David Creasman and Dan Eller; grandchildren, Alma Silvers, Tyler Arrington, Jesse Silvers, Mason Kuykendall, Aubrey Kuykendall and Abbi Blackwell; and great grandson, Kaleb King.

Her funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2022, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Reese officiating. Burial will follow in West Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Friday prior to the funeral service.
