Diana Lynn Roberts Crawford

ASHEVILLE – Diana Lynn Roberts Crawford, age 67, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025, surrounded by her family after a lengthy illness.

Diana was born on March 18, 1958, in Buncombe County, where she had lived all her life. She was the youngest daughter of the late L. Earl and Winifred Burnette Roberts.

Diana always had a smile and looked at life with positivity, having a kind, uplifting word for everyone. She loved NASCAR and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Diana leaves behind a legacy of love and family.

Those who will cherish her memory are her children, April Andrews, Adrian (Kayla) and Austin (Angela) Crawford; eighteen grandchildren; sisters, Susie Burke and Darlene Hudson (Zane); and a brother, David Roberts. Diana had an exceptionally close family network of nieces, nephews, and cousins lovingly referred to as “The Tribe”. They will miss her terribly but find solace in her deep love for her family

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, June 6, 2025, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home with Reverend Philip Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Piney Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery, Weaverville. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
