Chris Rosser

   HUNTERSVILLE, NC – Christopher “Chris” Paul Rosser, 53, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022 in Palm Harbor, FL.

   He was a man who seemed to take pride in straightforward replies to questions. Why use several words when one or two words would be enough? Chris was good at this and it became what Heather would expect from her husband. Chris was a man that enjoyed “Dad jokes” and had a collection of them; ready to pull out on a moment’s notice.

   Who doesn’t love the appearance of a well-manicured lawn? Most people do, and Chris certainly did. And who wouldn’t enjoy a well labeled collection of rocks from many adventures over the years? Maybe not everyone, but Chris certainly did! He could hardly finish one adventure before the planning of the next adventure began.

   Breakfast foods, Mexican food, pizza, 80’s hairbands and 90’s country were also favorites of Chris.

   A fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Chris was also a fan of NASCAR, live events of all types and concerts. He enjoyed calmer experiences as well such as fishing and his newly acquired hobby, golfing.

   Being with his family and friends, Chris also enjoyed board games, card games and loved cats. Watching home renovation shows was another pass time that Chris was fond of.

   He loved simple things like his Goodwill wardrobe. He believed that through his Goodwill donations and purchases that he probably bought back some of the same shirts he donated!

   But if he had his choice, he’d prefer to spend his time on a cruise or going to garage sales. Chris and Heather have been on 14 or 15 cruises together and even more garage sales.

   Chris’ funeral service will be held at 2:30pm on Friday, November 18, 2022 in the chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville. Pastor Jeff Bates from Elevation Church will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1pm until 2:30pm. Burial will follow at 4pm in West Memorial Park, 40 Roberts Street, Weaverville.
