Charles Pat Carver

MARS HILL – Charles “Pat” Carver, age 57, of Mars Hill passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021, at Mission Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Carver was born February 28, 1964, in Buncombe County to the late Albert and Minnie Cody Carver, one of ten children. He had lived most of his life in Madison County and recently retired from MSD, where he had worked for many years. Pat loved to be outside; gardening and working up firewood. He was a NASCAR fan. Pat was a very loving, caring and big-hearted person.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Kate and Maxine Carver, Glenna Shuffler and Jean Sexton.

Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Darlene Carver; son, Dillon Carver; sister, Rosalee Edwards; brothers, John, Howard, Bobby and Vernon Carver; granddaughter, Juliet and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 30, 2021, at West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville.

Masks will be required.
