Bruce Douglas Deweese

ANDERSON, SC – Bruce Douglas Deweese, age 73, of Anderson, SC passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Rainey Hospice House.

Bruce was born on July 28, 1951, in Asheville, where he spent most of his cherished life. For 30 years, he owned and operated Carolina Mobile Wash, a testament to his hard work and dedication. Bruce loved the tranquility of the lake, often spending his time boating and enjoying the great outdoors. He found immense joy in the company of his beloved dogs and family, creating countless memories that will live in the hearts of those who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Lee and Joyce Marie Dillingham Deweese.

Surviving is his wife, Jackquelyn Revis Deweese; daughters, Brittany Rasnick (Jeff) and Stephanie Daniels; sister, Melinda Lohr (Skeeter); brothers, Richard Deweese (Cricket), and Carol Lee Deweese; grandchildren, Arabella “Bella” and Wyatt Rasnick, Courtney, Tyrek, McKenzie, and Mason; and two great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday, May 23, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville.

Bruce will be laid to rest at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, May 24, 2025, in Thomas F. Dillingham Cemetery, Barnardsville. Those who are able to attend are welcome to share memories with the family at the graveside.
