Bobbie Jean Stewart Rowe

WEAVERVILLE – Bobbie Jean Stewart Rowe, age 78, of Weaverville, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at home surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Rowe was born on October 24, 1946, in Johnston County and was a resident of Buncombe County for most of her life. She worked as a bank teller.

She was the daughter of the late Ernest Roland and Hattie Bell Stanley Stewart and wife of the late William Ned Rowe who died in 2003. She was also preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.

Surviving are her sons, Robert Rowe and wife Melody of Weaverville, and William Rowe and wife Scarlett of Sachse, TX; brother, Jimmy Stewart of Princeton, NC; grandchildren, Dylan Rowe, Aliyah Norris, Katelyn Shumate and husband Hunter, and Katalina Rowe; and great grandchildren, Weston Shumate, and Bennett Shumate.
