BILLY JUNIOR HILL WEAVERVILLE – Billy Junior Hill, age 87, of Weaverville died Tuesday, December 6, 2016. Mr. Hill was born April 28, 1929 in Oakland County, Michigan to the late Virgil and Ludie Hill. He had been a resident of Buncombe County for the past 30 years and was a member of Red Oak Church of Christ. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by son, John Thomas Page. Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Maxine Evans Hill; daughters, Robin Williams, Sharon Ayla, Rebecca Urban, Shiela Shelton, Sherry Jackson; sons, Billy Joe Hill, Larry Page; 19 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandson. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 10, 2016, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with Wayne Cole officiating. Burial will be in Red Oak Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the residence.
