Andrew Jay Melchionna

ASHEVILLE – Andrew “Drew” Jay Melchionna, age 60, of Asheville, passed away August 20, 2026. He was born to the late Andrew Filip and Yolanda Esposito Melchionna on August 28, 1965 in Westchester County, New York.

Drew was a loving son, brother, and friend. He earned a master’s degree from the University of Florida Gainesville and had a career in commercial real estate. A wonderful and helpful neighbor, Drew was loved by all and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his sister, Jayne Melchionna.

Private entombment will take place at the Lewis Memorial Park Mausoleum in Asheville, where his parents are laid to rest. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love of family gone before and honored by the memories of those who remain.
