Agnes Marie Edwards

LEICESTER – Agnes Marie Edwards, 75, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Stonecreek Health and Rehabilitation Center in Asheville.

A native of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late William Ballard Lunsford and Mary Irene Crum Lunsford. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rickmon Joseph Edwards who passed away in April of 2017; and two sons, Joseph Lee Edwards and Douglas Edwards.

Agnes was a devoted Christian woman who loved the Faith and fellowship. She enjoyed crafts especially scrapbooking, sewing and crocheting. She adored and loved her family.

She is survived by four daughters, Amanda Crompton (Kevin), Kimberly Edwards (Perry Phillips), Cathy Henson (Charlie) and Cindy Benson; two sons, Aaron Edwards (Tasha) and Chris Banks (Amy); and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A private family gathering to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
