Charles B. Freeman, Director of Operations

Charles is a native of Asheville, NC and a resident of Weaverville since his employment with the West Family in 1983, a 1981 graduate of Enka High School and Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service. He is a licensed funeral director, embalmer, cemetery counselor, life insurance agent, and received his crematory operators training in 2001. Charles married Rebecca McClure in 1986, they have one son, Josh who attends school in the North Buncombe District. He is a son of the late Geri Buckner Freeman who died in 2003; his father J. B. Freeman, Sr. lives in Georgia. He and his family are active members of North Asheville Baptist Church.
